 Welcome to
Kettering Olympic Gymnastics Club
Kettering Olympic Gymnastics Club (KOGC) caters for boys and
girls at a Recreational level and has a squad of girls
competing at County, Regional and National level. The Club
has been County Team champions for the past twelve years and
has had many successes at all levels.
All gymnasts start with a one-hour session a week and then
progress to further hours at the coach's discretion. The
current fees are £20.00 per calendar month which includes
one hourly session per week with a minimum of four sessions
a month. There is an Annual registration fee of £28.00 which
includes Insurance and Membership to the British Gymnastics
Association (£15.00)
The sport of gymnastics does require the physical supporting
of your child by a coach during certain moves. If this is
unacceptable to you, then perhaps a non contact sport should
be considered. All coaches and helpers at KOGC have been on
a Child Protection course run by British Gymnastics and the
Club does have a welfare officer whom parents and gymnasts
can contact with any concerns.
The Club has recently been presented with the GymMark award
from British Gymnastics, This award is given for standards
being met in coaching, child protection awareness, health &
safety and having an open door policy for
all.
The Club also has a thriving Pre-School section called
GYMTOTS giving
children the opportunity to come and experience gymnastics
on our soft play equipment under the guidance of Kerry
Gibson & Vicky Pyatt. If you would like further information,
